David W. Lauridsen

Native Montanan Dave Lauridsen graduated from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1985. He joined the Bothe Law Firm in 1986 and became a founding partner of Bothe & Lauridsen, PC in 1990, taking full ownership of the firm in 1992. Mr. Lauridsen settled more workers' compensation claims than any other attorney in the state for several years, assisting literally thousands of workers. Mr. Lauridsen continues to represent workers' compensation claimants, dividing his time between Montana and Arizona.

Laurie Wallace

Laurie grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin River Falls and received her B.A. from the University of California Santa Barbara, Cum Laude in 1982. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Drake University Law School in 1986. Laurie has practiced in Columbia Falls since 1987 at the firm of Bothe & Lauridsen, in the areas of worker's compensation and personal injury. 

Laurie was admitted to the Montana State Bar in 1987 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, District of Montana; U.S Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit; and the U.S. Court of Appeals District of Columbia Circuit. 

Laurie is a member of the Flathead County Bar and Montana Trial Lawyers Associations, was on the Montana Lawyer Board of Editors 1990-2003, and was awarded the Montana Trial Lawyers Appellate Advocacy Award, 2001-2002. Laurie is married with two adult children. 

Ken Thomas 

Ken Thomas graduated from the University of Colorado in 1978 and went to work within the Burlington Northern family of companies for ten years. In 1992, he graduated from the University of Puget Sound School of Law and joined Bothe & Lauridsen as an associate attorney. Ken assumed full ownership of the firm in 2003, specializing in assisting workers injured on the job as well as individuals injured through the negligence of others.

William "Dean" Blackaby

Dean Blackaby has spent the last 20 years in making difficult things simple and resolving Montana workers' compensation claims. From 1996-2006, he was in private practice representing injured workers. From 2006 to 2014, Mr. Blackaby provided legal counsel to the Montana State Fund. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and also holds a Medicare Set-Aside Consultant Certified (MSCC) designation. He is a member of the Montana Bar and the National Alliance Set-Aside Professionals (NAMSAP).
